More House Stuff
These are some views of the west side of the house, and the side yard on the west. Lots of trees, and no major plans in this area, but you'll get an idea how heavily treed the lot is.





Direct view of the west side of the house, standing in the side yard. About the only real possibility in this area is that I'm thinking of putting in a small Japanese water garden just to the left of that pine in the middle of the frame. I'm probably going to be adding another 16 feet onto the back of the house there as well to add a family room, expand the kitchen, and put in a 2nd floor laundry and playroom for the kids. The house is 1800 square feet now, the addition would take it up to about 2600, which is the size of my current house.



View towards the house from the far west, streetside corner of the property. Other than the driveway side, where the neighbor is pretty close, this is what most of the views are like from the edges of the property. Lots of trees screening the house - very private.



Sideyard trees.

That's really about it for the sideyard area. I do want to put in a decorative metal fence in the front along the sidewalk, probably add some basic paths and plantings through this area, but that will be all.
